Being Perceived is a mirrored infinity room installation. The installation invites embodied participation. At its center, the mirrored cube offers a choice: step inside and decide whether to be seen or remain hidden. A single internal button controls the polarity of the one-way mirror, allowing those within to shift between visibility and reflection. Meanwhile, the surrounding courtyard invites ambient interaction—encouraging people to walk, sit, observe, and subtly influence the environment. As bodies move through the space, sensors trigger dynamic changes in light and sound. Visibility becomes a shared ritual, and presence itself becomes a form of authorship. In this way, Being Perceived becomes not just an artwork, but a ritual of choosing how—and when—to be seen.
