Description:

A photogrammetric 3D scan of the artist’s body and personal objects is suspended in augmented reality, viewable through a smart device. Flattened, stitched, and hollowed, the digital body is both a likeness and a distortion, hovering between material presence and immaterial abstraction. The work asks viewers to consider the gaps between physical being and its digital translation: what fragments of identity persist, and what disappears in the act of capture? Digital Self And Assorted Personal Items makes visible the tension between preservation and erasure inherent in digital self-representation.

Core Question:

What is lost—and what is revealed—when we translate ourselves into the digital world?
